Lancaster Politics and International Relations Ranked No.1 in North-West

Date: 9 June 2010

The excellence of the courses and teaching offered by our department has just been recognised in the influential and widely-publicised Guardian University Guide for 2011. The Guide provides league tables based on a number of factors, including surveys of student satisfaction which cover all the key aspects of the undergraduate experience. The final score also reflects the proportion of graduates who have found a job within 6 months of leaving university. In the Guide, Politics and International Relations at Lancaster was ranked 11th out of 69 similar departments in the UK, and by a comfortable margin the best in the North-West of England.
