Philosophy Summer School in Chongqing, China

Date: 25 July - 14 August 2011

Dr Brian Garvey will be teaching at the Philosophy Summer School at Southwest University, Chongqing, in China from July 25th to August 14th. The overall theme of this summer school is Philosophy of Biology, and Dr Garvey's segment is entitled "Evolution and Human Nature". Also teaching at the session will be Professor Paul Griffiths (University of Sydney), Professor Armand Leroi (Imperial College London) and Dr Fern Elsdon-Baker (British Council). Participating at the school will be students and academics from all over China. This summer school is made possible by the generous support of the CASS Institute of Philosophy, China.
