Martin will be giving a talk at the TESOL Conference 'Putting research into practice' in Doha, Qatar. He will be reporting on an aspect of his research into the application of dynamic systems theory as a way of understanding the relationship between classroom task, learner engagement, and learning outcome. He will be discussing how this can be useful for the use of tasks in language classrooms.
