Date: 21 July 2014

Lancaster graduate Dr Alberto Ramirez-Martinell (Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico) gave a presentation for Lancaster University's Organisation and Educational Development (OED) unit on Wednesday 16th July entitled "Digital knowledge: what teachers should know in the digital age". Alberto shared insights from his project on the "digital divide in higher education" (access - use - and appropriation). The proposed framework for the project is based on UNESCO, OCDE, ISTE and ECDL frameworks and is called "Digital Knowledge".
