Lancaster's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences awarded £150,000

Lancaster's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is spending £150,000 on equipment and materials to support work in the digital humanities on campus. History will be one of the major beneficiaries of this new investment. It will mean access to new digital resources expanding the scope of the historical research that can be done at Lancaster. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Tony McEnery, said 'Lancaster has been a pioneer in research in the digital humanities. It is my intention that we should remain so.'
