A new approach to student support, improved open days and a global outlook have helped Lancaster University reach the shortlists of three major education awards.
Lancaster has been named among the UK’s best in the categories of student services team, admissions strategy and international strategy in the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2017.
Universities need talented teams with cool heads and keen vision to keep things steady as the UK government reshapes the sector and plans Britain’s exit from the European Union.
Such people may be rare creatures, but they are plentiful on the shortlist for the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2017, of which Lancaster has been selected for three categories.
Well done to everyone for helping the University and SBS achieve such success and recognition; the winners will be announced on Thursday 22 June at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
