CETAD welcomed students who recently embarked on the Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice (Health Service Leadership)

This bespoke programme has been designed around core competences for aspiring leaders from all psychological professions across the North West who are committed to developing their leadership and management skills.

Our blended learning approach will combine online learning, group workshops, learning sets and tutorial support for work based assessment tasks.  We aim to open opportunities for networking and learning from peer professionals.

The first workshop proved very positive with one student commenting to our Tutor: 'I enjoyed Tuesday and meeting you and my fellow leaders in training'.

''The group have made a great start and promise to achieve a lot - personally and professionally - over the duration of the programme. They are committed and keen to learn which is a great start. This bodes well for the rest of the programme and I am really looking forward to working with them''

Jan Maskell, Lead Tutor

"The Psychological Professions Network is delighted to see Lancaster University at the forefront of developing multi-professional leadership training for the psychological professions. If we are serious about promoting parity of esteem by valuing psychological wellbeing and interventions equally alongside physical healthcare then it is important our psychological professions have the skills and confidence to lead service transformation from the front"

Zubeida Ali, PPN Workforce Executive member and Chair of PPN Counsellors working in the NHS Network

CETAD are excited about evolving this unique programme.
