County Graduation 2013

Congratulations to all County members who graduated on Wednesday 17th July - Well done to all of you!

We had a glorious day with plenty of sunshine to keep everyone going until the official college photo at the very end of the day.

With County having so many successful students, it took two ceremonies to present everyone to the Vice Chancellor. The 2pm ceremony saw my first ever graduation as Principal - and even though I haven't had time to get to know all our graduates personally I couldn't have been more proud to stand on stage and represent County (and if I pronounced your name incorrectly, I apologise profusely, it wasn't through lack of trying!!)

Thanks go to everyone who made the day such a success - the University Ceremonies team, and to Bette Nichols for ensuring that the day went smoothly

It just leaves me to wish all our graduates all the very best for the future. Please keep in touch - and come and visit if you are in Lancaster

If you didn't pick up your almuni pack on the day, and haven't given your new contact details to the alumni office, please do email Bette with your new details.

And as you move on in your lives - don't forget that you'll always be a member of The County College!

Special thanks go to Ian Wood (our favourite Pendle Porter) for tirelessly wondering around County all day taking pictures of anyone he came across!

You can download them now by going to the County Graduation 2013 Photo Gallery

Alternatively, if you'd like to buy prints of various sizes, or download very high resolution versions, you can go to Pendle Photography's Shop

If you see a photo of yourself that you'd like to be removed from the gallery please email Rachel Fligelstone who will arrange for them to be taken off the site.
