Grizedale College Advisor Team

ACT Banner

Grizedale College has a team of committed individuals dedicated to helping Grizedale students to settle into university life and enjoy their time whilst at Lancaster. This group is called the College Advisor Team (CAT) and they are a first point of call for any students feeling uncertain or concerned about a variety of welfare issues:

• Personal & social
• Health, physical, emotional
• Financial problems
• Academic issues

In our experience many students find the transition to university life difficult and many will experience personal problems along the way. This is normal, so please don’t suffer in silence, come to talk to the CAT and we will support you through your degree. If we can’t help, we will know someone who can.

CAT is also able to help Grizedale students who find themselves in academic difficulties further into their degree, for example, support students a Standing Academic Committee.

Contacting Grizedale CAT

Students can make contact with the team by email or at one of the regular drop in sessions.

Drop Ins, One to One Support & Advice

Grizedale CAT host drop ins where you can talk to us about any concerns you have about your welfare. These are held every Thursday during term, 12-2.00pm, in the Grizedale Meeting Room, next to the Porters Lodge.
