Lancaster University is one of the North West's most prestigious conference and events venues. From cutting edge eco-buildings and leading academic speakers to award-winning accommodation and a full catering option, we can offer you an energising, professionally managed, and cost effective experience.
Our selection of high specification facilities for meetings, events and conferences is available year round but our capacity to host large-scale residential conferences increases significantly during the Easter and Summer vacations.

FASS comprises 3 modern, fully equipped meeting rooms, which are available year round, and which range in size to accommodate all types of meetings and events.
The £10m LICA building is the greenest building on any UK campus. Completed in 2011, this purpose built venue accommodates conferences of up to 750 delegates and is a great exhibition venue.
George Fox Complex
The George Fox Complex has eight spaces ranging in size from 45 to 350 delegates and an AV Technician on hand for your event. Its large foyer is ideal for exhibitions or refreshments
The £10m Charles Carter building opened in 2011 and is rated BREEAM Excellent. It features an open plan glazed atrium, an executive meeting room, lecture theatre, and seminar rooms.
The Faraday Complex boasts brand new AV Technology in its three lecture theatres, which hold up to 300 delegates. Seminar rooms, a computer lab and a large foyer are also available.
Part of the University’s £200m transformation, the striking Management School building comprises lecture theatres, meeting rooms, and substantial social and break out areas.
Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is a flexible space ideal for boardroom meetings or smaller training events or business briefings. Available during the Easter and Summer vacations.
The Great Hall accommodates up to 800 delegates, with 57 further breakout spaces in the nearby Conference Centre, Faraday and Bowland complexes, seating anything from 20 to 250 guests.
Bowland North is perfect for large events requiring a large number of breakout rooms. It boasts two lecture theatres and a total of 27 recently refurbished breakout rooms, all with natural daylight.
Lancaster House Hotel
Lancaster House Hotel is a well-equipped conference centre flooded with natural daylight and comprising training suites for up to 100 delegates and executive suites for smaller meetings.
