The CUIDAR team comes from a variety of disciplines: sociology, cultural geography, health research, educational and theatre studies. All researchers have completed major projects in the social studies of disasters.

Lancaster University leads three work packages in the CUIDAR project:

  • Work Package 1: the coordination and management of the project.
  • Work Package 6: the design of the child-centred disaster management framework.
  • Work Package 8: project ethics
