The Orthodox community of Lancaster University mainly includes Greek, Cypriot, Russian,
Ukrainian, Romanian and Bulgarian students of the University. American and Middle-Eastern
Orthodox students also attend the Liturgies. We welcome non-Orthodox students who
wish to explore the spirituality of the oldest church.
The Orthodox Chaplain of the University is Fr. Jonathan Hemmings:
The Holy Liturgy usually takes place in the Chaplaincy Centre of Lancaster University
on Saturdays at 10.00 a.m. and other services as announced. Please confirm with fr.
Jonathan. The Liturgies are served in English and Greek.
