The University holds two licences, which enable LUTV to record programmes from broadcast output.
LUTV can only record standard definition "Freeview" channels. The ERA licence allows us to record most cable, terrestrial, and non-subscription satellite programmes, the only exception being programmes produced by the Open University and Open College. These are subject to a separate licence agreement, details of which are available from Annette Lawrence in the Library - ext. 92522 email email@example.com
LUTV can record many programmes simultaneously to DVD. We can also record programmes for viewing via Moodle subject to the ERA and O.U. licence limitations.
