Helen Barnett

PhD student, Associate Lecturer

I am currently a 1st year PhD student at STOR-i. I graduated from Lancaster University in July 2013 with a BSc (Hons) Mathematics, and for each of my three years of study achieved the departmental prize for the highest score in my year group. For my undergraduate degree I took a range of modules in analysis, group theory and algebra as well as statistics. I enjoyed them all but I particularly found interest in the statistics modules, hence why I applied to STOR-i. I achieved a distinction in my MRes year at STOR-I, and I am looking forward to undertaking my PhD research on optimizing pharmacokinetic trials utilizing microsampling in collaboration with STOR-I industrial partner Janssen Pharmaceutica.
