'Share your research - Networking session'
For the final research seminar of 2012, you are invited to an informal networking session which will enable you to meet other people (both staff and students), talk about your research and hear about other people's work. We have in mind that it is a challenging skill to be able to describe your research in a couple of minutes and yet often when networking at conferences and at other events, this can be the situation. We will organise some fun activities which will allow you to practice your skills at this on a one-to-one basis helped along by sherry and mince pies. I do hope that you will join us so that we can hear about your work. If you are not currently engaged in research, you're still very welcome and we look forward to hearing about your work and interests.
Please let Dee Daglish (firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you plan to attend. Also, if you would like to join the session remotely, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements.
Look forward to seeing you at this session.
