This seminar will present the interim findings of the longitudinal project ‘Understanding Knowledge, Curriculum and Student Agency (UK-SA) in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering’, which is part of the ESRC/HEFCE funded Centre for Global Higher Education. It is examining undergraduate degrees in two related STEM subjects. Paul will discuss students’ relations to knowledge, Jan the role of assessment in shaping how students engage with knowledge and Janja the employability aspirations of the first year students. While each presenter will focus on their own topic, they will discuss it in the context of the overall project.

All are welcome to attend.  Please contact Dee Daglish for further information.
