Outstanding Service Award

At a recent meeting of IFIP, the international federation of computing societies, Professor Don Passey was awarded a prestigious Outstanding Service Award for his contribution to the technology enhanced learning field. Don first attended an IFIP event in 1993 (in Gmunden, Austria) and has since been regularly involved in activities and conferences concerned with the Technical Committee on Education. He has edited and contributed to books and journal collections organised and published by IFIP, has been involved in international reviews, and has been a member of international working groups on elementary education and on education management (and he is currently vice-chair of this latter group).
