Professor Don Passey recently gave a webinar for educators in Brunei on the topic of '21st Century Teaching and Learning' to support educational developments in e-learning practices. Brunei has created a long-term strategic plan to develop its economy and has integrated the development of education within this plan. To develop a culture of e-learning in schools, the eHijrah project has been initiated. One intervention within this wider project is called the Whole School ICT Development Project (WSID), run by Imagine Education. The Ministry of Education and 20 selected schools in Brunei are being supported by Imagine Education in developing changes in teaching and learning practices using digital technologies. Other experts involved have included Professor Patrick Griffin, Melbourne University, Professor Okwah Lee, Seoul University and Dr Tarek Shawki, The American University of Cairo. The first webinar in the intervention was offered by Jim Wynn, Promethean Education Strategy Group, and Don's webinar can be found on the intervention portal (www.wsid.info) at http://www.wsid.info/mod/page/view.php?id=98.
