Jo Warin's visit to the University of Guelph-Humber

Jo Warin visited the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto, Canada, to deliver a series of lectures to more than 100 undergraduate students participating in the programmes "Early Childhood Education" and"Family Community and Social Services". The lectures were entitled:
- Is it important to have a 'sense of self'? A discussion based on a longitudinal ethnographic study of self-construction with children aged from 3 - 17.
- 'Cos I'm a kid'. Male teachers' construction of their identities and their rationales for preschool work
- 'Mutual reach' between education professionals and parents. How far can professionals really get to know children and their families?
