Promoting Social Justice through Education

Aims

To draw and build upon various approaches to, and theories and issues about, social justice in order to develop a critical understanding of the ways in which social justice may be promoted (or inhibited) through education in a host of different contexts, including participants’ own environments.

To provide opportunities for professionals working to promote social justice in or through education to become autonomous educational researchers, and to gain deeper and more critical insights into their professional practice and concerns.
