Research Overview

I am a traditional route PhD student in Educational Research, investigating the use of an advanced type of technology for educational purposes. My PhD working title is Blended Simulation Based Medical Education (B-SBME): the practices, learners’ and facilitators’ perceptions, experiences and challenges.

I have worked as a research associate on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Lancaster University and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHTR), focused on the expansion of educational and business practices in the simulation centre. The main outcome of the project was development, implementation, and evaluation of B-SBME, an innovative training/learning approach into SBME.
