TRAVEL:

Arrival by car: Lancaster University is best accessed from the M6 or A6 exiting the motorway on junction 33. Follow directions to Lancaster on the A6, passing through the village of Galgate, after which Lancaster University will be on your right, turning at the second set of traffic lights. This should bring you onto campus up Bigforth Drive.  See below for parking information.  Postcode for GPS directions LA1 4YB.

Arrival by train: Lancaster Railway Station is in Lancaster town centre, approximately 3 miles from campus. It is served by an occasional bus service to the campus (U3R) and a taxi rank. If you wish to use a bus service to reach campus it is better to walk to either the main bus station or Common Garden Street bus stop (both approximately 5-10 minute walk) to catch a regular bus service to the University. Services 2A, U2, 3, U3, U3R and U4 all come on to the university campus, which it will say on the front of the bus, with the 2A and U2 service being the more direct route.  Please alight the bus in the University Underpass. A link to bus services is given below.
