Computer simulation technology of soft matter: introduction and case studies of J-OCTA system
Soft matter has a complex multi-scale structure andunderstanding the mechanism of physical properties requires computersimulation. It is necessary to use the appropriate methods for each scale, fromthe atomistic to the micrometer scale. “J-OCTA”, the integrated simulationsoftware, has some important technologies for the research and development ofmaterials and is used widely in industrial and academic field. Through theexplanation of functions and case studies of the software, important simulationtechnologies and latest topics of soft matter are introduced.
