Special Guest Speaker
Professor Jacqueline Myriam McGlade, a British-born Canadian marine biologist and environmental informatics researcher.
Global Challenges: Linking Theoretical Ecology, Spatial Dynamics, Ecosystems and Science-policy
Professor Jacqueline McGlade is a marine biologist and environmental informatics professor. Her research focuses on ecosystems, climate change and scenario development. Her work into dynamics and systems has led to innovations in understanding a variety of ecosystem dynamics. In the past, she was Executive Director of the European Environment Agency and recently she was the Chief Scientist of the United Nations Environment Programme, based in Nairobi. She is a Professor of Environmental Informatics at University College London.
