On Monday 9th November, Lancaster University officially opened a new Pharmacy following relocation to the heart of the campus. The Pharmacy has been moved to a more central location from Bailrigg House following student and staff feedback.

As well as improving the location of the Pharmacy, opening times have also been extended to provide a better service for everyone. Professor Amanda Chetwynd, Provost for Student Experience, commented: “We are absolutely delighted that we have opened a pharmacy in the centre of the campus. With around 15,000 people on campus every day, a pharmacy is an important benefit to the health and wellbeing of our community and was the main student request in our recent student experience survey.”

Utam Patel, Pharmacy Owner, also commented: “Sykes Chemist is delighted to move to the centre of the campus to provide a great, accessible healthcare service to all Lancaster University students, staff and visitors.”
