An alternate 'out of hours' diversion is in place as the Faraday building is closed between 9pm and 7:30am daily.
New handrails will be installed in Great Hall Court between Monday 14th May and Monday 28th May.
The mouth of the North Spine will close over the weekend to allow contractors to work on the canopy above. During the works, a diverted route will be signposted through the Learning Zone in to Bowland Quad. The cut-through adjacent to Blackwell’s Bookshop is open and leads to the North Spine.
On Saturday 12th May, new silver lettering will be installed around the Infolab, LEC, and ISS.
From Tuesday 1st May until Friday 18th May, changes will be taking place to the Spine works around the Faraday Complex and Physics Garden.
The redevelopment phase of the Spine Remodelling Project has been underway since August 2016 and has so far seen the introduction of Great Hall Square, Great Hall Courtyard and Physics Garden in the North of Campus and Furness College Court in the South.
Canopy works are complete in the area allowing access to be re-opened from Alexandra Square.
From Monday 23rd April, the area outside Pizzetta, known as Furness College Court will undergo works as part of the Spine Remodelling Project.
From Monday 23rd April, high level drilling works will be conducted to the eastern façade of Bowland North and the western and southern façades of FASS. The works are expected to continue until the middle of May and will allow steel works to be installed in preparation to receive the new canopy.
The inbound lane of Bigforth Drive, the main drive in to campus, will be closed between 7am and 1pm on Saturday 21st April to allow for resurfacing works to be completed.
