Closure to the pathway adjacent to the Library is planned between the 18th and 22nd of December to allow contractors to maintain the timber facade on the North West elevation of the Library.

The entrance to University House will be closed from Alexandra Square on Saturday 2nd December as a safety precaution whilst silver lettering is installed to the rendered area above the entrance.
From Saturday 2nd December, weekend works will be undertaken to demolish a wall on the West Wing of A-Floor in the Library.
From 20th to the 26th of November, Draindoctor will conduct scheduled maintenance works to clean road gulleys around campus.
From Monday 11th December, works are planned to commence to the external windows of the Charles Carter Building which will continue until Friday 12th January 2018.
From Saturday 11th November weekend works have been scheduled which will allow contractors to complete the temporary surface works and to prepare for the installation of steel supports along the North Spine between Santander and the Learning Zone.
From Saturday 4th November, a section of building works located at the mouth of the North Spine will move to the opposite side of the pathway outside Santander. The works are scheduled to last 3 weeks.
From Monday 30th October, a section of canopy which has been installed to the Fylde Building along the South Spine will be worked upon. Completion of these works is planned for 3rd November.
From 30th October, refurbishment works will commence in the Library around the special collections area and reading room to transform the space in to practical study areas for students.
