Interplay between spectrally bounded operators and Complex Analysis
Methods from Complex Analysis have been playing an important role in the study of spectrally bounded and spectrally isometric operators between Banach algebras in the past few years, not only through the subharmonicity of the spectral radius. In this survey talk, we intend to illustrate this interplay with Operator Theory by a few recent advances in the structural investigation of these operators.
