Dr Graham Jameson appointed Honorary Researcher
The Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Graham Jameson as an Honorary Researcher, in recognition of his continuing contribution to the department.
Dr Jameson joined the department in 1973, retiring as a Senior Lecturer in 2009. In that time, he served as Head of Department, Undergraduate Admissions Tutor and Head of Teaching, and contributed to the development of a significant portion of the undergraduate curriculum.
His research interests originally lay in functional analysis and Banach spaces, shifting more recently to classical analysis and relations with number theory. He has also written a number of textbooks and expository articles, as well as examining several PhD theses. He remains active in his retirement, visiting the department frequently.
