A One Day Workshop

This one day workshop will reflect on shifts in attitudes towards feminism in contemporary culture to explore whether the concept of 'post feminism' has outlived its usefulness for the academy and, if so, what comes next?

Geraldine Harris (LICA, Lancaster, Theatre Studies) Theatres of Feminism, Now and Then Debra Ferreday (Sociology, Lancaster) 'We Are The Media': Feminism, Body Image and Resistance

Rebecca Coleman (Sociology, Lancaster) Immanent feminist theory, proximate viewing and makeover television
