How to Apply for a Masters Degree

In order to apply you will need to find out about the MA schemes and the courses. You can surf the web pages or you can e-mail the Postgraduate Co-ordinator. We'll answer your questions and send you the information you need. We'll also put you in touch with the course tutors if that would help you. And you can visit the department too.

Next step will be to complete an application for the particular scheme that interests you. Information, including downloadable application forms and addresses are available from the Postgraduate Admissions Information page. You can also apply and track your application online.

 

Documentation we need from you

  • a completed postgraduate application form
  • letters from two referees
  • confirmation of your undergraduate degree result (copies of certificates and transcripts).

Deadlines for your application

  • 30 June each year - for the EU and Overseas
  • 31 August each year - For the UK

    However, if you are applying for funding your will need to apply at least six weeks before the funding body's deadline.
