Dr Sue Cranmer, Centre for Technology Enhanced Learning, Department of Educational Research, Lancaster University

Professor Cathy Lewin, Education and Social Research Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University

iTEC (Innovative Technologies for Engaging Classrooms) is a four-year project co-ordinated by European Schoolnet aimed at transforming the way that technology is used in teaching and learning. With funding of €9.45 million from the European Commission's FP7 programme, it involves 26 project partners including education ministries, technology providers and research organisations. This presentation will introduce the project; detail the process for the creation of educational scenarios intended to inspire changes in teachers' practices; and share the results of the evaluation.
