Date: 2 March 2011 Time: 12.30 - 2.00 p.m.

Venue: IAS MR1

Tania Vazquez

Doctoral Student, Educational Research, Lancaster University

Collaborative partnership has been a distinctive practice in England. The Green Paper Excellence for all children (DfEE, 1997) set out the agenda for the future of special needs provision and there was a reappraisal of the role of the special schools to support increased opportunities for inclusion. This research is part of my PhD project which aims to describe the process of the collaborative partnership in special and mainstream schools in the Northwest of England.
