MA Adult Literacy, Numeracy & ESOL

The Department is not currently recruiting to the MA in Adult Basic Literacy and ESOL.
Fees and Funding
Fees include all printed materials required for the module, support from a module tutor who will guide you through the modules and assessment. A programme support team who are available for academic advice.
In addition you will have access to Lancaster University resources and support including the library, IT systems, career advice and additional academic study support. Fees are modular and the overall cost of the programme will depend on your chosen programme.
- UK/EU Student Fees for 2009/10 are:
- Masters Programme - £4550.00 (6 modules plus a dissertation)
- Diploma - £3250.00 (4 modules plus a dissertation)
- Certificate - £1950.00 (3 modules)
- Individual Modules - £650.00
International students please contact us for current fees. Please note all fees increase annually unless paid in advance.
Funding
Postgraduate level study is increasingly seen as part of the recognised pathway for professionals who work in the area related to ALNE staff development funding has become more available. We therefore encourage you to approach your employer for funding. Many of our students are sponsored through staff development budgets, accessed through their employers.
You may also be eligible for a Career Development Loan.
