Academic Practices Module

The Academic Practices Module is a required, but non-assessed part of the MA Programme, which is intended to help each individual student develop the practices that they will require to engage successfully with the rest of the programme. These sessions will consider a number of aspects of academic practice at postgraduate level including approaches to search the literature, critical reading of educational research, academic writing, using software packages for data analysis, as well as an introduction to the dissertation.
