Lancaster UniversityLancaster has an excellent record of offering places to students on the basis of a wide range of qualifications and experience. We look for signs of your ability to pursue and profit from an Honours degree, and for evidence to compare your application to those of other candidates. Lancaster University has particularly close links with the Open College of the North West and we are please to accept applications from candidates who are following Access Courses. Formal qualifications are not necessarily required although we do ask for some recent evidence of the ability for academic study and applicants would usually be called in for an interview.

Further information on the other types of qualifications accepted can be found by visiting www.lancs.ac.uk/admissions/undergrad/study/qual.htm or by contacting the Department at PinE@lancaster.ac.uk for further information.

Academic Scholarships - Lancaster offers Scholarships of £1,000 per annum - if you get A*AA at A-level and put Psychology in Education down as your CF choice. Further information about bursaries, scholarships and funding can be found on the main university pages.
