PinE 205 Conceptualising the Social Psychology of EducationThis introduces students to key theories and methods in social psychology and apply them to educational settings. For example, we include:
PinE 301 Advanced Social Psychology of EducationThis builds on your second year work to explore aspects of the self and processes of social comparison, together with the development of effective group practices in educational settings. This year 3 module aims to engage students with advanced and focussed study of social psychological issues in an education context, covering topics such as inter-group behaviour within school, school cultures, motivational processes, self-concept/self-esteem, and teacher-pupil relations.
