The Creative-Critical Pathway (CC)
Students taking the Creative-Critical pathway take 4 modules:
The dissertation may be in creative or critical writing.
Students are expected to take two 20 credit modules per term (Terms 1 and 2). Students can apply to replace one taught module with a guided reading course, the Special Subject module.
The compulsory ENGL419: Research Methods course is taken by all English MA students and runs across terms 1, 2 and 3.
Typical modules available include:
Qualification for the 2 creative writing modules are subject to the submission of a 300-500 word creative writing sample.
