While at Lancaster
From campus accommodation: you will need to bring your own laptop, an ethernet cable, and to use mains power, a 3-pin adaptor plug. You will also need a password - available at the conference registration desk.
Wifi internet access is available in the conference venue, as well as the George Fox Building (where opening registration and plenaries will take place) and the Management School Building (where lunch will be served). To use this, you will need a further password, also obtainable at registration.
The standard voltage in the UK is 230V, and the frequency is 50Hz. Unless you come from Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore, or Hong Kong, you will need a converter to plug in your appliances. UK electric sockets require the use of a three-wired grounded and fused plug for all connections to the power mains.
