Colloquium 3: Urban-Rural: Flows and BoundariesIAS Annual Research Programme 2006-7Regions and Regionalism in and beyond Europe>

Colloquium 3 of the Regions & Regionalism in and Beyond Europe programme will focus on three linked areas:

  • Session 1 will examine Rural and Urban Interactions
  • Session 2 will focus on changes in Landscapes and Townscapes
  • Session 3 will explore Urban and Rural Futures

The event will feature position papers from Richard LeHeron (Auckland University), Gregory J. Ashworth (University of Groningen), Mike Savage (CRESC), Philip Lowe (University of Newcastle) and Joe Painter (University of Durham).

All are welcome to attend and the event is free of charge to all Lancaster postgraduate/doctoral students (including those recently graduated and unwaged) and Lancaster University staff (daytime catering is included). For everybody else there will be a charge of £10 per day, which will include daytime catering.
