IAS Seminar - Undertaking inter-disciplinary research

Date: 31 January 2007 Time: 9.30 - 1.00 pm

To be held in Meeting Room 2-3, IAS Building

One of Lancaster University's better known claims is its commitment to inter-disciplinarity in scholarship and research. This seminar explores the meaning of inter-disciplinarity both in principle and, more importantly, in practice. Researchers who have long experience in inter-disciplinary research explain what it means for them, how they integrate it into their overall intellectual project, and the value that it adds to their ability to interpret and explain the social world. The seminar is open to graduate students and faculty members from Lancaster and other universities in the region.

Please confirm you attendance with Susan Dray.
