International Disability Studies Conference
Date: 2-4 September 2008 Time: 00.00-00.00 pm
The fourth international disability studies conference will take place at Lancaster University hosted by the Centre for Disability Research (CeDR) and the Department of Applied Social Science. The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers, practitioners, policy makers and activists to share and debate research, ideas and developments within disability studies.
Acall for papers and posters was issued in January 2008. The closing date for abstracts will be 30th April. Submissions are particularly welcomed from students, activists and first time presenters. We seek to provide a supportive environment for people making their first conference presentations and to be as accessible as possible to all delegates.
The online conference booking form will open on 1st April with early bird fees available until 30th June.
