'Exploring the complex relationship between production of educational video, its educational use, and its target audience in Higher Education'
Alberto Ramirez Martinell, Research Student, Educational Research Department.
Wednesday 4th June 2008, 12.30 - 2.00 p.m., IAS Building, Meeting Room 2. All welcome.
The aim of this research is to find the most suitable academic situations in which Higher Education students can profit from using video-enriched learning materials. In this seminar the speaker will describe the perspectives of the Digital Video Producer, the experience of the HE practitioners at the moment of integrating the medium within their academic practice and the target audience. Insights from the research process will be revealed along the seminar and usable knowledge in the form of best practice and guidelines are to be covered. This is a work in progress, and part of a PhD research supervised by Dr Julie-Ann Sime.
