Finn Spicer (Bristol): Intuition in Philosophy and Philosophical Naturalism

Recently the role of intuitions in philosophical methodology has been brought into the spotlight and challenged. In this paper i examine the central commitments of naturalism in philosophy, and ask whether they really warrant this hostility towards intuition-based methodology.
