Social Media for the Perplexed

A dedicated session looking at how social media can positively be deployed for impact, engagement and publicising research.
The two hour session will combine an introduction to the wide and varying social media platforms that are available with, in the second hour, a workshop to help you develop and improve your strategies for using these platforms to enhance your research's impact, engagement and public profile.
It will be lead by Marcus Lilley a Lancaster University Theatre Studies graduate who founded FutrSocial in 2013.
Marcus is an expert on Social Media and Mobile Technologies and has appeared in the Guardian as well in several BBC Interviews.
