Research on Representation of Islam in the British press rated outstanding

An ESRC funded research project on the representation of Islam and Muslims in the British press has been rated as "outstanding" by the ESRC's internal ranking process. The project team was comprised of Paul Baker, Costas Gabrielatos and Tony McEnery and has resulted in a number of publications in journals, including one in Applied Linguistics, and a book with Cambridge University Press. The team have also presented their findings at the House of Commons, as well as at a number of universitities and conferences.
