MA student Benjamin Kremmel awarded with Caroline Clapham IELTS Masters award

MA in Language Testing student Benjamin Kremmel has been awarded the 2013 Caroline Clapham IELTS Masters Award for his dissertation entitled "Explaining Variance in Reading Test Performance through Linguistic Knowledge: The Relative Significance of Vocabulary, Syntactic and Phraseological Knowledge in Predicting Second Language Reading Comprehension".
The award is presented annually to the Master's-level dissertation in English which makes the most significant contribution to the field of language testing and carries a prize of £1000.
It is the third time in four years that the award goes to a Lancaster student: http://ielts.org/researchers/grants_and_awards/ielts_masters_award.aspx.
