Lancaster-Ghana UG Ambassadors scheme

Date: 28 March 2014

On the 30th March, 18 students and 3 staff will travel to Lancaster University's brand new campus in Accra, Ghana as part of the Lancaster-Ghana UG Ambassadors scheme.

The Lancaster-Ghana UG Ambassadors Blog has been created to record their journey, right from the point of application to returning home.

About the Scheme

Lancaster recently opened a campus in Accra, Ghana. The Vice Chancellor has made funds available for an annual trip for second year students to visit the campus in Ghana with students from LAEL, Law and PPR taking part. It is called the Lancaster-Ghana UG Ambassadors scheme.

The purpose of the trip is to act as ambassadors for Lancaster University and to exchange ideas about life as a student here with students at Lancaster's newly opened campus in Ghana, and at the University of Ghana.
