Associate Lecturer Wins 2014 Commonwealth Short Story Prize

Congratulations to Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi, who has won the Commonwealth Short Story Prize for 2014.

Jennifer, who was awarded her PhD in Creative Writing here at Lancaster, now teaches in the Department and is working on her second novel. Her doctoral novel, The Kintu Saga, won the Kwani Manuscript Project Prize in 2013.
