CeMoRe Visiting Fellowship 2016

We invite applications to our annual CeMoRe visiting fellowships scheme.

Applications are encouraged from scholars and artists, whose research interests intersect with those of CeMoRe. The fellowship must be taken-up between January and June 2016. The fellow will be awarded a £2,000 stipend which may be used to cover expenses such as travel and accommodation in Lancaster and expenses associated with research activity during the Fellowship. Fellows will be expected to spend a minimum of 1 calendar month in residence at CeMoRe (this may be split into two shorter visits). You will be expected to collaborate with members of CeMoRe to organise a workshop on the topic of your research involving a range of speakers, and you will be asked to write a blog about your time at Lancaster.

To apply for the fellowship, please submit a CV with a 1 page covering letter detailing:

(1) how your research connects to CeMoRe;

(2) what you plan to do during your time in Lancaster;

(3) how you might build long term connections to the Centre via the fellowship.

Previous fellowships have been held by Ole B Jensen, Rachel Aldred, Cathy Coleborne, and Tricia Flanagan. Details of the events they organised and a blog about their visits are available on the CeMoRe website.

Deadline for applications is 4th September 2015 and successful applicants will be informed October 2015.
