Armed Forces Day & Streets of Mourning

Date: 28 June 2014 Time: 10am - 4pm

Venue: Lancaster Castle

The Lancaster Military Heritage Group have organised a day of events for the whole family on Armed Forces Day, including historic vehicles, jazz bands, wargaming, cadet displays and more. Lancaster University's History Department will be showing the Streets of Mourning Project, where members of the public have the opportunity to look up the names of individuals, street or school to understand the impact of the First World War in the area.
